Welcoming Esteban!

The Foundation would like to welcome its newest staff member Esteban Vega to the Village and Lighthouse communities! Esteban comes to us from the Santa Barbara Housing Authority, where he worked with youth, teens, and families in an educational and recreational setting. He is a recent UCSB graduate and also works at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. Here is a introduction Esteban prepared.

"Service about Self" For many years I have had the desire to help others. From being a little league soccer coach to a Fine Jewelry Specialist at Macy's, I have had a passion to be available to others in any way. I believe that the family structure is an important dynamic that has to be healthy and strong for the members to thrive. Ever since I was 8 years old, I realized just how important family is. Whenever problems arose within my family, I would have worked my hardest to fix things. I wish to be a resource to not just the residents of our complexes, but to the staff as well!
