Kids Helping Kids Host Halloween Party At The Village

The partnership between The Village and Kids Helping Kids (KHK) continues to grow. Friday, October 28 found 50+ volunteers hosting a Halloween party for the kids and families at The Village. The students from San Marcos High School planned games and activities such as a ball toss, mummy wrap, face painting, corn hole, relay races, and the kids favorite, doughnut on a string. Both KHK and Village families brought food for the potluck and one parent ran a cookie decorating station. The event highlighted the sense of community at The Village, as many parents observed and participated in party clean up. Thank you KHK!
