What is The Foundation House Program?
The Foundation House Program houses young adults that are in unstable living situations ranging from living in their cars, couch surfing or sleeping on the streets. The young adults have a desire to pursue Santa Barbara City College but due to housing and employment barriers, are having a difficult time doing so. The Foundation House will provide employment connections and academic support as well as weekly case management to ensure that the young adults are successful in reaching their individual goals.

Our mission is to provide stable housing for the participants that will empower them to focus on school, maintain employment, and build healthy relationships.
