Their elite team of qualified and experienced staff gives parents the tools, knowledge, and coaching they need to help their child reach their full potential in life.

Doman's mission is to help children with special needs achieve complete wellness. They educate parents about the Doman Method® with courses and seminars and provide personalized guidance to families during evaluation visits with our staff. They strive to help every child with special needs worldwide.

The Grace Fisher Foundation exists to connect children living with disabilities to music, art, dance, and other forms of artistic expression in order to provide an accessible space for community inclusion, education, creation, and self-discovery.

Danielle Anderson with Tri-Counties Regional Center has been challenged by Muscular Dystrophy for most of her life. She is an example of someone who has moved beyond her challenges to make a difference in the lives of others. She is a woman of strength and incredible abilities.

Joni Eareckson Tada started Joni and Friends, a Christian organization known for sharing hope through hardship within the disability community. Her work and her foundation have impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of people with disabilities and their families.

Victoria & Bill Strong, inspired by their daughter who had Spinal Muscular Atrophy, started the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation, an advocacy group that encourages families struggling with similar diagnoses to NEVER GIVE UP and reminds the world that everyone can make a difference.

As a massage therapist for hospice and palliative care, Heather Karr Johnson wanted to ensure her patients had companionship and comfort when they needed it the most. This was the drive behind her creation of Palliative Puffs, a charitable organization that creates and sends custom stuffed animals to nominated patients.

Kelly Twichel and Eric Packard were inspired to help local adaptive surfers cross the sand to the waters edge in their wheelchairs with dignity and independence, and Access Trax was born. Kelly & Eric didn’t just stop there as they share a mission to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions for accessibility to outdoor recreation for all.

Partnering with Zaca Creek Golf Course, instructor Bob Kotowski founded Olde School Golf School’s Blind & Deaf Golfing program to encourage those who may not have had the resources or ability to golf, thrive in the sport!

 

The Special Olympics provides sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities through providing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their community.

Alpha Resource Center empowers individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities throughout Santa Barbara by supporting families, creating opportunities, and fostering belonging.

Easy Lift’s mission, headed by director Ernesto Paredes and his talented leadership team, is to fulfill South Santa Barbara’s need for specialized transportation to allow individuals and organizations access to essential programs and services.
