Communications Intern

Location: Santa Barbara, CA (Hybrid: Remote & In-Office)

The Turner Foundation is seeking a Communications Intern to help share our story and impact with the broader community. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain professional experience in nonprofit communications—perfect for students looking to build a portfolio and sharpen their skills in digital storytelling, campaign development, and event communications.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and curate content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube

  • Write press releases for programs and events

  • Build and run email campaigns using Mailchimp

  • Update and manage our website via Squarespace

  • Assist with event communications and donor outreach

  • Contribute to messaging and storytelling strategies

What You’ll Gain
